Switch & socket brand

Runs its entire production through OperGo — and bills millions doing it.

Switches, sockets and cover plates, sold as a configurator of finishes most manufacturers would refuse to quote — run entirely by OperGo, reference by reference.

The challenge

A catalog too large to run as one-off orders.

Take one four-position cover plate: each position can carry any mechanism — one or two levers, one to four buttons in any layout, round or square, a Schuko socket, a Schuko with USB, a hotel keycard, a motion sensor. Multiply by the plate's own edge designs and a finish chart that runs from the full RAL range to brushed gold, gun metal, brushed nickel, chrome and old gold — and every combination is a sellable reference. Run as individual RFQs — one email thread per SKU — that catalog stops at a few dozen references, not the billions it actually spans.

The approach

OperGo became the production department.

OperGo's engineers modeled the catalog as a matrix: ~50 base components, each finish and configuration priced as an attribute, not a new product. Every combination becomes a real SKU the moment it's ordered — tooled, produced and invoiced through one account.

The result

A brand that owns no factory, and runs one anyway.

The brand delegates design, tooling, manufacturing and invoicing — and bills millions of euros a year on a catalog no single-vendor supply chain could keep up with.

Building something like this?

This is what full delegation looks like.
